Back from the Dead

Hello Lovlies! Remember little ole me? Life has been completely wild for the past year, since the birth of my littlest angel. And I'm sorry. I failed you. I couldn't write, failed to find my inner slut... whatever you wish to call it; in a nutshell it is a complete and utter FAIL to provide you with closure on any of my stories. It was wrong. I turned into the type of FF writer that frustrated me to no end. And it depressed me, deeply.

However, I have heard your cries for more, and am thrilled to say that I am picking up the pen again. I hope to have some updates posted by beginning of next week, and hopefully I have not lost my touch.

Hi Ya'll! I have been pretty busy (considering I was pretty much in writer's hiding for a while). So what is new for me right now:

A Fine Line Between ~ I just posted chapter six on both http://www.fanfiction.net/ and http://www.thewriterscoffeeshop.com/library/ So if you enjoy that story, please check it out and let me know what you think.

A Twisted Twilight Tale ~ I have been moving this story slowly over to http://www.thewriterscoffeeshop.com/library/ Once the chapters are moved, I will be finishing this story. Yes I know, you all thought i had forgotten about my half-bloods and ATTT, but i assure you it will be finished, hopefully before my SIL's wedding this November.

Fighting Dirty ~ In case you have not seen this before, I am working on a collab with Kaylin_Jean. She gave me EPOV, which you know i just love to do. It's on ff.net http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6560743/1/bFighting_b_bDirty_b and on TWCS. Check it out!

Back in the Writing "Saddle"

Hello lovelies, I am back! I know i keep procrastinating with my updates but it was hard to keep my creative muse which taking care of a newborn (baby not vampire lol).

In any event I have several things on my creative plate at the moment. I am working on new chapters for AFLB and Twisted Twilight, and am working on getting a chapter for a collab story I was asked to participate in. More news when it is posted for reading.

So hopefully you will see some new material from me soon. Hopefully all the people who enjoyed my sotries haven't forgotten about me.

A Crazy Couple of Months

Sorry I have been out of circulation; I have been dealing with an insane work schedule and morning sickness due to my little surprise due in September... I know I should be over the sick part, but this little lady seems to be out to get mommy! So I have been way to tired to focus on writing. But I am trying. So hopefully you all haven't said.. "Well screw her and her dumb stories" because I have not given up on them! I just posted a small chapter for A Fine Line Between today, and am working on the next chapter of A Twisted Twilight Tale. So if you still read those stories, don't fret!

The Writer's Coffee Shop

Hey everyone! I am happy to say I have my motivation back so you will be seeing updates again. ALso i wanted to let you know I am transitioning to a new fanfiction site The Writer's Coffee Shop. Why, you ask? Well some of my favorite authos (DurtyNelly and HunterHunting to name two) have been blocked by fanfiction.net due to their content. They are gonna find me someday, so lets open our horizons to a new site as well, so just in case they shut me down on fanfic you won't loose the stories. So far I have A Fine Line Between posted there, and the first few chapters of A Twisted Twilight Tale. I will get it all there soon, as well as my other two stories. I have to make a couple banners though, cause i think they would make my stories look prettier there, lol. So if anyone has any ideas they want to share, please let me know.

Neglecting My Readers

I wanted to send out a huge apology to all of my readers. I have been insanely busy and so tired at the end of my day that I have had no energy to write. Hopefully this week will be better. Happy Holidays ~ Drawing for my peeps!

As an artist on many fronts, I decided to make some personalized gifts for my peeps (including me). Please keep in mind I have never taken an art class, so they are far from perfect. Plus I was trying to get all three done before Christmas day, so they were slightly rushed.

I started with a drawing of my favorite non-Twilight persona, Norman Reedus. This was a drawing from The First Boondock Saints movie, when they were sitting in the jail cell after their "Call from God". It was my gift to myself; I love drawing him for some reason. I sent it to his Twitter, but he is much too busy of a guy to notice it or care, I am sure lol!

The second is of our beloved Robert Pattinson, from his Vanity Fair cover pic! A gift to my lovely Sister-in-law @FireCr0tch!

Finally my gift to @sjAimee, her beloved Jasper/Jackson Rathbone.

Ok, I know they are not professional stuff, but what do you expect from someone who dabbles in too many forms of art?

It is official; biased as i am i feel my daughter is incredibly talented. Tonight was one of her "show up mom" moments. I discussed my "doodle incident" in my Gemini Madness post. My wonderfully goofy boss merely rolled his eyes at the drawing he spied on my desk the otherday when i was supposed to be working... Ok well... Oopsey me. I have been distracted. I didn't even get the chance to finish the stinking thing, cause he confiscated it, the bastard!

Anyway, i digress. My "going to be 13 in one week", mini-adult decides she needs to draw him too; no reason mind you... she is just going to do it. So she finds a picture... and older one of him from i have no clue where, and draws away; mumbling teen obscenities as she goes.... I was told not to post it... but whatever, I am going to do it anyway... She tried to steal my pencils too... BRAT!!!

My "Alter-Ego"

In case any of my readers are unaware, Ivy Lane is my pen name only, or my alter-ego, as my wonderful SIL would put it. I was perusing her blog page today, which any Twilight Fan should definitely check out, btw (We Bite Pretty Hard) and love the Twi-Advent calendar she is doing currently. The fun part about my alter-ego is that I had kept her in the dark since I started A Twisted Twilight Tale (my first attempt to entertain her through my guise as a stranger).

I revealed my true self over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and she decided to oust me in her blog the following day, with the humbling title of Lies Make Baby Jesus Cry. I reread it today and got a huge giggle out of it! So I decided to share with ya'll.

Gemini Madness

Sorry I have been out of the loop with my fan fiction as of late, got sucked into the holiday spirit, and along with that my artistic muse has exploded, urging me to throw myself into various projects that must be done before Christmas. Must be the Gemini in me, eh?

Anyway, should have some updates this weekend for my stories. Hope so anyway. Chapter 35 of A Twisted Twilight Tale is half way done, and if i can get my SIL to check out chapter 2 of A Fine Line Between over the holidays while i have her trapped at home with me, maybe you'll see that too! Pagan Paparazzi... well we shall see. As i said above, I have gotten sucked into a bunch of holiday projects and as i fight the Gemini in me who takes on too much at once, I list the things that must be done!

I started an ornament project for my SIL for Christmas, Twilight Themed Ornaments! They cool pretty cool so far, if i can pat myself on the back for a moment. Pictures will be posted of the finalized ornaments once they are complete, if i get a chance.

Started drawing again last weekend; it has been a really long time... say maybe 10 years+ since I picked up the elusive pencils. Had this urge to make my daughter an Edward Cullen drawing for her birthday (the day before Chirstmas... fabulous timing yes?). Anyways, after I drew my first "Edward", shown at the top of this post (yes his nose is AWFUL), I started doodling other "hotties", but since nose drawing and I are NOT friends apparently, all were epic fails! Then i decide my faithful #2s could be useful during some slow time at work.... Bad idea Iv!

Got caught by the boss yesterday doodling Norman Reedus; my boss rolled his eyes at me. Since my followers (which are never here somehow but only on my story pages) are Twilight Maniacs, you may not know who that is. He co-star's as Murphy McManus in both the Boondock Saints Movies. He is quite nice on the eyes, thus my facination in drawing him nowadays. But yesterday made me realize that doing this at work was probably not my best decision ever, lol!
